  • - A selection of recorded virtual Group X classes isavailable on our. Access virtual Group X videos anytime and anywhere that is convenient for you.
  • Virtual On Demand Training- Campus Rec personal trainers offer free, on-demand virtual training programs that are open to everyone (no pdx.edu email or Campus Rec membership required).   • - Access a wide range of free online workouts suitable for people with physical disabilities and movement limitations.
  • Accessible At-Home Workouts - Theseat-home wheelchair basketball workouts are designed for you to complete on your own at home, and focus on strength, coordination, endurance, cardio, and stretching.

Family-Friendly Offerings

  • - PSU's Resource Center for Students with Children has created a Google site to bring you the most relevant list of family-friendly resources and support.
  • - Campus Rec recommends the family-friendly workouts for kids of varying ages.

Emotional Wellbeing

    • Fat Chat with Campus Rec -Fat Chat with Campus Rec is a series of CampusWell articles tackling all things bodies! Campus Rec is actively working to be more size inclusive, decrease gym anxiety, and change the perception about who belongs at the Rec Center.
    • -Mindful Meanderings is a podcast aimed at expanding your daily mindfulness practice as you get outside to walk. Each episode has a different focus aimed at expanding our daily mindfulness practice. From practicing gratitude, finding joy, and simply being in the moment, we are excited to be a part of your mindful walk or roll experience.
    • -Learn how to cultivate body positivity and practice self-love with PSU's Love Your Body resources. For a deeper dive into understanding diet culture and the fat liberation movement, consider watching one of our recorded Love Your Body Week presentations on the Campus Rec
    • Health at Every Size (HAES®)-Campus Rec champions body positivity and embraces Health at Every Size® (HAES®) Principles. We believe everyone belongs in the Rec Center. We welcome and invite people in all bodies to experience our facility and programs and find joy in movement.All Campus Rec staff are trained in Health at Every Size® principles and values as part of our work to dismantle “gym culture” and promote inclusion.

  • PSU's Center for Student Health and Counseling (SHAC)- SHAC remains fully committed to the physical and emotional health and wellness of PSU students. SHAC offerings include: Health Services, Counseling Services, Dental Services, Mind Spa, Telehealth, Student Health Insurance, COVID-19 Testings and Vaccines, and Wellness Education.     • My Student Support Program @ PSU (My SSP@PSU) - Call. Chat. Anytime. Anywhere. SHAC has expanded using a mobile app, telephone, and the web to conveniently connect students with free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support 24/7. Financial Wellbeing

  • PSU Basic Needs Hub - Provides students with one place to stop for all concerns related to providing for basic needs support so students can focus on academics, career goals, and interpersonal relationships.
