All Summer Pathways ��ֱ���� must take three (3) courses in the Summer. Two courses will be 3 credits each and apply to the General Education (Gen Ed) or help prepare you for a course in the Gen Ed. The third course will be SLS1410: FAU iSucceed (0 credit hours) which is designed to help with the transition to college.

Academic Success Pathway

Summer: Your Academic Advisor will determine the appropriate courses for you based on your potential incoming credits and intended major.

Important Requirement: �� ��Students must earn a 2.0 GPA or better to continue to the Fall.

Fall: Your Academic Advisor will determine the appropriate courses for you based on your potential incoming credits and intended major. Per your Admission requirements, you can take up to 11 credits.

Jump Start ��ֱ����

Summer: Jump Start ��ֱ���� majoring in Business and Architecture are required to take a math course if placed into MAT 1033 (Intermediate Algebra). Your Academic Advisor will determine required coursework (if applicable) and appropriate courses for you based on your potential incoming credits and intended major.

Important Requirement:��Students must earn a 2.5 GPA or higher to continue to the Fall as a full-time student. Students earning a 2.0-2.49 may be permitted to enroll in the Fall semester as a part-time student.

Fall: Your Academic Advisor will determine the appropriate courses for you based on your potential incoming credits and intended major.

STEM Bridge ��ֱ����

Summer: STEM Bridge ��ֱ���� majoring in Science, Engineering and Computer Science will be required to take STEM coursework (e.g., math, science, or engineering). Your Academic Advisor will determine the appropriate STEM course(s) for you based on your intended major.

Important Requirement:��Students who do not complete their Summer STEM coursework with a “C” or better will be required to change their major to something outside of Science, Engineering, or Computer Science. Students must also earn a 2.0 GPA or better to continue to the Fall.

Fall: STEM Bridge ��ֱ���� majoring in Science, Engineering and Computer Science will be required to take STEM coursework (e.g., math, science, or engineering). Your Academic Advisor will determine the appropriate STEM course(s) for you based on your intended major. Per your Admission requirements, you can take up to 11 credits.

On both the FAU and Common App applications, ��ֱ���� select their preferred term of entry - either Summer, Fall or Spring. They are automatically considered for all admissions pathways and all terms. Therefore, you need only submit one application. Students are admitted for the term and program for which they qualify.
